Girls Middle School Track And Field · Lady Quaker MS Track and Field wins Columbiana County Championship

The Lady Quaker Track and Field team took home their 3rd straight invitational win and their 2nd straight Columbiana County Championship on Wednesday night at Crestview High School. Salem used a balanced effort on the track and in the field events to compile 131.5 points on their way to victory.

Event winners for the Lady Quakers were Maddy Andres (Shot Put, also 2nd in the Discus), Maggie Hall (1600 and 800), Maggie Hopple (400, also 2nd in the 800), and Angeline Hoffaker (200). Salem Was also victorious in the 4x200m Relay (Delaney Callahan, Meadow Anderson, Emmy Kemats, Hoffaker) and the 4x400m Relay (Hopple, Laura Hovorka, Paige Menough, Hall).

Other members of the Lady Quakers who scored points to help the cause were Gabby Ripley (7th- 100H, 5th- 200H), Channing Toy (7th- 400m, 8th- High Jump), Kait Conrad (3rd- 100m), Jenna Duda (5th- 100m, 2nd- 200m), Delaney Callahan (8th- 200H), Emmarie Noble (5th- Discus), Meadow Anderson (7th- Shot Put) and the 4x100m Relay of Emilee Lewis, Conrad, Kemats, and Hoffaker finished 3rd.

The Lady Quakers wrap up their regular season next week with a dual meet on Monday vs. Canton South, and finally the EBC Championship Invitational at Marlington on Wednesday.
