The Lady Quakers put together another strong effort, as they competed in their third race in seven days. On a hot and humid evening at Glen Oak High School, Salem ran to a runner up finish (115 points) to number 11 state-ranked Minerva (64 points) at the Malone Invitational in the Division II section of the meet. The field had 18 complete teams. Carly Hall led the Quakers and the Division II field as she raced to a first place overall finish (19:05). The win marked Hall’s 4th invitational individual victory on the season. Rounding out the Quakers’ scoring was Molly Hopple (11th – 20:40), Kami Rohm (29th – 22:24), Halle Cochran (32nd – 22:30) and Mikaylynn Murphy (43rd – 23:00). The Quakers will return to action Saturday October 5th as they will run in the Legends Meet at Trumbull County Fairgrounds in Cortland.
