The Quakers got a complete game from Junior pitcher Josh Young on Saturday to get back in the win column at Ravenna Southeast 5-1.

Young kept Southeast batters off balance all day to recording 5 strikeouts and holding the Pirates to 1 run on 5 hits. Young also helped out offensively adding a 2 RBI single in the 6th inning to put the game away for the Quakers.

Braydon Gibson also added 2 more RBI’s to his impressive season total of 24 with a single with the bases loaded in the 3rd inning.

The Quakers are now 7-4 overall with an out of conference record of 6-0. Salem is 1-4 inside the NBC and will try and improve on that record tomorrow as the Quakers travel to Minerva for a Sunday matinee with the Lions at 2:00..
