On Saturday October 31st, Salem senior cross country runner Carly Hall qualified for the 2020 OHSAA State Cross Country Championship by finishing in 8th place with a time of 20:19.9 at the regional meet at Boardman High School. In a strong field that featured six teams in the top 20 of the state, Hall held her own and advanced to the state meet for the 2nd time in her high school career.
The 2020 OHSAA Cross Country Championship will be held at the Fortress at Obetz in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday November 7th. She will run at 1 pm in the girls division II race. Best of luck to Carly as she competes next weekend for the final time in her high school career. Go Quakers!
