Quakers News · Salem Track – Cope Inv. Champs


The Salem Boys and Girls Track Teams finished the 27th Annual Cope Invitational as team champions.  Salem girls finished with 138 points, ahead of Austintown Fitch who scored 124.5 points.  Salem boys also finished in front of Fitch, scoring 108 points to their 101 points.

The Salem Track Teams came very close to sweeping the individual awards as well.  For the girls, Haley Rozeski was the top point scorer for the girls running events while Caitlyn Marx and Abbie Antram  were co-top scorers for the girls field events.  For the boys, Zach Murray earned top point scorer in the boys running events.  Their events/results are listed below along with the final meet results.

Haley Rozeski – 1st 3200 meter run, 1st 4 x 200 meter relay, 1st 800 meter run & 1st 4 x 400 meter relay

Caitlyn Marx – 1st discus, 4th shot put

Abbie Antram – 1st shot put, 4th discus

Zach Murray – 1st 110 meter hurdles, 1st 4 x 100 meter relay, 4th 300 hurdles
