Quakers musters 3 hits, drops 7-1 contest to Mckinley
Quakers dropped a 7-1 decision to Mckinley on Saturday.
Wells got the win for Mckinley. He allowed one run over seven innings. He struck out seven, walked three and surrendered three hits.
Keaton Turney couldn’t get it done on the hill for Quakers, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
Mckinley didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a two-run error.
The lone run of the game for Quakers crossed the plate in the third inning on an RBI single by Cooper Bezeredi.
Mckinley built upon its lead with three runs in the fourth. Faulner started the inning with a double, bringing home Hurst and Hogsett
