Meet Recap

The Lady Quakers came out on top of the twelve team field totaling up 99 points Friday at the Howard Parker Invitational. The Quakers had many outstanding performances on the evening, highlighted by meet and school breaking records by Kyla Jamison in the shot put with a throw of 43-0 and Halle Cochran in the 800 with a time of 2:28.33. Jamison was also first in the discus. Other top three performances for the Lady Quakers included Carly Hall first in the 1600, a third place finish by the 400 meter relay team of Paige Bailey, Kelly Hutton, Casey Johnson and Abby Perry, a first place by the 800 meter relay team of Bailey, Hutton, Johnson and Rylie Troy and a second place finish by the 1600 meter relay team of Cochran, Hall, Annie Davidson and Molly Hopple. The Lady Quakers will compete in a quad meet Monday at home against West Branch, Louisville and Canton South.
